Khemjira is a good child, diligent in her studies, talkative, and cheerful. Her hobbies are drawing and coloring. She enjoys art and volleyball. Khemjira has a twin sister, named Kwan, who is also available to sponsor. At home, she helps her parents by washing dishes and fetching water. When she grows up, she dreams of becoming a teacher because she wants to share knowledge and teach other children. Though the family is loving, they are very poor and struggle financially each month. The farming income is paid annually but is insufficient. Khemjira’s mother’s sister migrated from Myanmar, creating a larger household of six.
