Nishant lives in the dry hilly region of Northern Gujarat. His father is a minister and his mother is a housewife. His father works as a minister and occasionally travels to teach as a visiting professor. Though his father is very active, he does not make much money to provide for the school fees so that Nishant and his two older brothers can attend school. Nishant likes playing cricket with his friends.
