Thawatchai (Yacub) is from the Lahu tribe. Yacub is a well-behaved and obedient child. Recently, he lost his grandmother, but he still has his grandfather.  His father divorced his mother and is currently in prison. Thawatchai lives with his mother and stepfather. The family faces poverty and hardship. They hope for sponsorship to supportYacub's future. Out of concern for his grandfather, he often stays close to him. Yacub enjoys studying the Thai language and likes to play with his friends. As for his future, he is still unsure about what he wants to become.
