Chonthicha (Nam) is cheerful, talkative, and bright. She enjoys drawing, math, and playing volleyball. At home, she looks after her brother and helps with house chores. Nam dreams of becoming a Thai language teacher when she grows up. Her parents separated and her father was imprisoned (now released).  She lives with her grandparents.
